Veolia will start the leaf vacuuming service for City residents of Centralia as of Monday, October 11, 2010. The vacuuming service will last for a period of 8 weeks ending on Friday, December 3, 2010. For details on this service please download the press release below.

The City of Centralia encourages an active and engaged citizenry and
strives to continually keep residents informed on municipal projects. To

Thank you for your participation in the 2010 Citizen Survey. City staff is currently tabulating the responses and will have the results ready to present to City Council in early September, commencing the City's budget process. New Form of Lease Available for Lake Centralia
At the May 10, 2010 City Council Meeting, the Centralia City Council Approved a new form of lease for Lake Centralia tenants. Participation in the new form of lease agreement is completely optional to current lease holders. Residents interested in the new form of lease may download a copy of the agreement by clicking the link below. In order to enter in the new form of lease agreement the City will need a letter of interest from the current lease holder along with a $75 publication fee Attn: City Clerk, 222 S. Poplar Street, Centralia, IL 62801. All new form of lease agreements will be presented to City Council for approval. Current leaseholders on Lake Centralia may continue with their current lease and do not have to participate in the new form of lease agreement.
