The City of Centralia seeks a full time Maintenance Operator for the Wastewater Plant.Applicant must possess considerable working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and industrial safety as well as proof of considerable experience and knowledge of functions and servicing of mechanical equipment, motors, pumps and valves.Milwright Certification or 2 year technical degree from an accredited institution along with structural and steel pipe welding certification is also required. Seeking highly motivated individual to work in recycling area at a large manufacturing facility in Mt. Vernon, IL.
Duties to include processing materials to be recycled for shipment: loading trucks with a forklift, baling material, prepare shipping documents, interaction with plant management and company vendors.
Forklift certification and supervisory experience a plus.
