2007 Year End Report for the Centralia Fire Department.
The Centralia Fire Department responded to a total of 1442 calls for the year 2007, compared to 1461 in 2006. During the year, there were 1Civilian deaths and 1 Firefighter injuries due to fighting fires (sprains, strains).

Of the false alarms 5 were for malicious or mischievous calls, 37 were due to system malfunctions, 51 were unintentional and 14 were other false alarms.
The structure fire with the costliest loss was on October 6, 2007 at 325 S Walnut. Approximate loss value was $37,000.
There was one death attributed to a fire last year and that was on October 6, 2007 at 325 S Walnut.
The total dollar loss for 2007 was $195,525.
The total value of property saved was $35,817,975.
The total value of property at risk was $36,013,500.

The Centralia Fire Department conducted a total of 8656.25 training hours. We also performed 169 Pre-Fire Inspections.
